Finding Illinois is the solo project of Toronto based musician Chris Veres from Rough//Shapes and Hope is

The moniker 'Finding Illinois' is inspired by the David Berman poem 'the Spine of the Snowman.' Chris started the project to experiment with combining lo-fi acoustic guitar and elements from Shoegaze.
